Our Enduro Day’s are set within Exmoor National Park, Somerset, in the heart of some of the very best off-road motorcycling terrain in the UK, yet easy to find and only twenty miles from the M5 motorway.

Our Motocross Days are run all over the UK. Dave has carefully selected tracks that suit all riding abilities.
Team – Dave Thorpe runs the Centre so you are in safe hands! He has had an incredibly successful career within the motorcycling industry, filled with world titles, British Championships at all levels and management of several teams racing at UK and Grand Prix level. Dave and his team of instructors will look after you from the minute you arrive and bring on your confidence and skills riding off-road throughout the day!

There are a number of hotels near by to suit all budgets.
Enduro only: We would recommend staying at Raleghs Cross Inn (this is where we meet you on the morning of your Enduro event). If you quote ‘HONDA’ over the phone or online when making a reservation, you will receive 20% off of their room rate. 01984 640343.

Enduro Days – we meet at Raleghs Cross Inn pub for briefing, get kitted up and refreshments. We also have lunch here, too.

Riders must be 18 years of age and over to take part in our Enduro Day’s.
A road bike licence is not needed but we will ask you at the time of booking for the participants riding ability so we can make sure we have the suitable bikes and instructors in place for the group expected on the day.
Dave Thorpe, 4 x World Motocross Champion manages Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre and will be your Head Coach on the day so you’re in great hands! Dave has a brilliant team of instructors to accompany him on his events to ensure you get the most out of your off-road day with us.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
All bookings are to be made over the phone directly on 01404 841278 or via www.davethorpehonda.com and are on a first-come first-served basis.
Payments are to be made via Stripe if booking on the website via Booking Hound or with the following cards only: VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, Solo, and UK Maestro. We are unable to accept any other cards. Customer payments will be taken by the company at the time of booking.
Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre will send out an email confirmation with directions, T&C’s and useful further information attached once the booking and payment process is complete. Bookings will be completed once customers confirm they have read and understood our terms and conditions.
All requests for cancellations must be in writing and sent by either post or email. Upon receipt either of a letter or email requesting cancellation, Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre will acknowledge said cancellation within 5 days. Until the customer has received this confirmation the original booking remains valid.
The customer will be charged on the following basis:
Deposits to secure bookings are non-refundable.
If paid in full:
29 or more days prior to the event start date – 20% administration/overheads fee. The relevant fees are:
Enduro Day – £45.00; Motocross Day – £30
Up to and including 28 days prior to the event start date – the fee is not refundable or transferable.
During the course, if a customer is unable to continue with training, for whatever reason, no refund of the course cost will be given.
Requests for changes to bookings must be made in writing and sent by email. On receipt of email requesting a change, Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre will acknowledge any changes within 5 days. Until the customer has received this confirmation the original booking remains valid. Changes are at the organiserʼs discretion and while every effort will be made to accommodate them, we cannot guarantee to make these changes. Requests will only be considered if made 29 or more days prior to the course start date and will incur a fee.
Customers may only transfer a course date once, and it must be redeemed within 12 months of the original course date. Customers transferring a course date will be liable for any increases in course cost. Courses are extremely popular and are often booked up in advance. The company cannot be held responsible for the availability of courses should customers wish to transfer dates.
Transfer of booking by the customer will be charged on the following basis: 29 or more days prior to the event start date – 10% administration/overheads fee. The relevant fees are:
Enduro Day – £22.50; Motocross Day – £15
Up to and including 28 days prior to the event start date – the fee is not refundable or transferable. No changes can be made to bookings up to and including 28 days prior to the course start date.
Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre reserves the right to postpone a course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases the customers booked on this course will be offered an alternative course. The company will notify the customer by phone, or via email, with as much notice as possible once aware of reason to postpone.
Please note, neither Dave Thorpe Honda Off Road Centre or Honda U.K. provide personal accident cover for participants and as with any other potentially dangerous pastime you may wish to consider purchasing your own personal accident cover before attending the course. Insurance of the bikes can be covered by taking out our £25 damage waiver. This is a payment that can be paid on the morning of your event or prior to your event taking place. Our £25 damage waiver will exempt you of any damages caused to the bike(s) whilst riding on your event. This is optional. Further detail is enclosed in the email upon booking.
Customers accept that riding a motorcycle is a dangerous activity. Off-road motorcycle activities take place in varied natural environments where there are hazards and risks to manage. Every effort will be made by the Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre team to provide training in a safe manner. Customers participating on our courses are expected to comply with all safety guidance and instructions given by Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre staff. All Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre instructors are experienced instructors. These instructors may differ from event, to event. However, the guidelines of instruction and event itinerary will remain the same.
If, in an instructorʼs opinion, it is unsafe for a customer to continue on their current course, Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre reserves the right to move that customer to a different training group or bike appropriate to that customers ability level. In the event of such a decision, Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre will not reimburse fees. Customers must be physically fit to take part on a Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre course.
Your safety and enjoyment are our prime concerns while taking part in Dave Thorpe Honda Off Road Centre course. The customer has a responsibility to mitigate the risks incurred. This means that you should wear all required safety equipment at all times. We provide customers with full protective clothing and safety riding kit to wear. Alternatively, you can use all of your own riding kit however your helmet must be EC2205 or equivalent and in good condition and your boots and gloves must be suitable for off-road use. We ask that you respect yourself, other participants and staff on the course. The company reserves the right to withdraw customers from the event who exhibit disruptive or dangerous behaviour that risks their own safety or the safety or enjoyment of other customers and/or staff. Any damage caused to property or equipment as a result of unruly behaviour will be charged to the customer.
- Enduro Day; It is mandatory that all UK resident customers bring the original plastic part of their licence to sign on if you have a road bike licence. Customers will be unable to participate when riding on the road without first presenting their full licence and will be unable to reschedule or receive a refund. When booking, you select your ability so we are aware of the licence holders on the day.
- All bookings are on the basis that the customer will, at all times, observe the safety regulations set by Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre.
- Customers booking a course agree to fully comply with Dave Thorpe Honda Off-Road Centre. Safety Regulations, Code of Conduct and any other instructions given by the staff. Failure to observe these rules may lead to exclusion from the course or event. Customers so excluded will not receive a refund.
- Motocross Day only; customers who wish to use their own bikes must ensure that they are safe to use prior to joining the event. If not deemed suitable to ride by our instructors, no refund will be issued for the event. However, an upgrade to use our bikes on the day of the event may be offered at a cost of £51.
- Indoor Motocross Day only; customers who wish to use their own bikes (maximum engine capacity of 250 four-stroke) must ensure that they are safe to use prior to joining the event. If not deemed suitable to ride by our instructors, no refund will be issued for the event. However, an upgrade to use our bikes on the day of the event may be offered at a cost of £51.

Online payments are processed securely by Stripe.
